Registration desk

All the WCVIM participants are requested to present your registration confirmation at the PSIVT registration desk, which will be opened at 9:30. Coffees and snacks will be served from 9:30. It is hoped that the participants will come a little earlier to avoid congestion.

Mission

Computer vision is one of the key technologies of advanced image and video processing. This workshop, to be held in conjunction with the PSIVT2009 conference, aims to bring together the researchers of computer vision and its application to image media processing. In this workshop, not only the state of the art techniques but also on-going research efforts are welcome. Young researchers are strongly encouraged to submit their papers and to have an opportunity to exchange the ideas among international researchers.

Possible topics include, but are not limited to:

Early Vision, Segmentation, Motion and Tracking, 3D Reconstruction, Illumination and Reflectance Modeling, Object Recognition, Video Analysis and Event Recognition, Face and Gesture, Applications

Dec. 10th, 2008 at 12:00 noon (GMT) All papers must be in PDF format prepared for A4 size, double column. The maximum number of pages is 8. To ensure an overall homogeneity of the proceedings, submitted papers must be prepared according to the style guide lines. To this end, each author is encouraged to use the prepared style and example files:

Proceedings

All the accepted papers will be archived in the workshop/tutorial CD-ROM, which is distributed with the main conference (PSIVT2009) proceedings.

Registration

All the workshop participants are requested to register the main conference (PSIVT2009). The registration fee of the workshop is included in PSIVT2009 registration fee.
